Insulate Thermal Deck Board Eco is a practical insulated loft boarding system designed to create useful, walk-on storage space while improving the thermal performance of your loft.
Each 66mm panel combines durable OSB/3 facings with a high-performance Stylite PlusTherm grey EPS insulation core, giving you insulation and a strong boarding surface in a single product. This removes the need for separate loft legs, jacks, spacers or brackets and makes it a straightforward option for both DIY installations and professional loft upgrades.
The Eco board uses a simple butt-jointed profile, making it easy to trim and adjust on site. This makes it particularly useful in lofts with restricted access, irregular layouts or areas where boards need to be cut around existing services.
Once installed, the boards provide a stable, fully walk-on surface suitable for general household storage and can also be used to create safe maintenance walkways to items such as water tanks, boilers and solar equipment.
With a U-value of approximately 0.54 W/m²K, the Eco board provides a cost-effective way to improve loft insulation without sacrificing valuable storage space. When installed over approximately 130mm of suitable mineral wool insulation, the complete build-up can achieve an overall U-value of approximately 0.18 W/m²K, subject to the existing construction and installation.

When used in conjunction with approximately 130mm of Rockwool or equivalent insulation between the joists, the complete insulation build-up can achieve an overall U-value of approximately 0.18 W/m²K, depending on the existing construction and installation.
Please note: Insulate Thermal Deck Board Eco is intended primarily for non-habitable loft storage and access. Where the boards are used as part of a warm flat roof construction, an approved vapour barrier should be installed below the panels and the proposed build-up should be checked with Building Control.
