HOW TO INSTALL PREMIUM INSULATED LOFT BOARDS
1. Check the Loft
Inspect the timber joists and identify any electrical cables, pipework, downlights, water tanks or areas that may require future access.
2. Check Existing Insulation
Ensure existing loft insulation is correctly installed and isn't compressed when the boards are fitted.
3. Plan the Layout
Lay the boards across the timber joists. Stagger adjoining joints where possible rather than lining every board joint up.
4. Apply Adhesive
Apply the recommended adhesive between adjoining panels.
5. Connect the Boards
Push the panels together so the projecting connecting spline locates securely into the adjoining board.
6. Fix the Boards
Fix through the OSB and insulated panel into the timber joists using suitable timber screws.
7. Continue Across the Storage Area
Cut boards where required around roof timbers and services, while keeping anything requiring maintenance accessible.

Fixing Guide:
As an estimating guide, allow approximately 32 x 150mm screws per pack based on typical 400mm joist centres.
A box of 100 x 150mm screws can therefore cover approximately 3 packs of Premium Insulated Loft Boards.
