The IG BOX 100 1200mm is a compact standard-duty steel box lintel for supporting openings in 100mm wide masonry walls. Its box section gives a neat, practical support over smaller doors, service openings and similar masonry openings where the BOX 100 profile is specified.

For the 1200mm length, IG lists a height of 70mm and a steel thickness of 1.6mm, with a published total UDL of 15kN.

Check that the BOX 100 is the correct lintel for the wall construction and expected loading before installation.

It should be fitted in accordance with IG guidance, with the correct bearing and masonry detailing for the job.
