For medium-sized openings in a wider cavity wall, the IG L1/S 150 1800mm offers standard-duty support without overcomplicating the build. It is designed for cavities between 150–165mm and suits a 102mm outer leaf with a 100mm inner leaf.

IG lists this 1800mm lintel at 120mm high with a 2.0mm steel thickness.

The published total UDL is 22kN at a 3:1 load ratio and 18kN at 19:1. It is a good fit for residential and light commercial masonry work where the L1/S 150 profile has been specified.
