The IG L1/S 150 1500mm is made for modern wider cavity wall construction, covering cavity widths from 150–165mm. It supports a 102mm outer leaf and 100mm inner leaf and provides a practical standard-duty option over door and window openings.

At 1500mm long, IG specifies an 86mm height and 2.0mm steel thickness. Published total UDL figures are 15kN at a 3:1 load ratio and 13kN at 19:1.

This lintel is suitable where the L1/S 150 profile is shown on the project specification.

As with any structural lintel, confirm the loading and wall make-up before fitting, then follow IG’s installation guidance for bearing, DPC and masonry detailing.
