IG Lintel L1/S 100 3300mm

When a project needs a longer standard-duty lintel across a 90–105mm cavity, the IG L1/S 100 3300mm is designed for the job. It supports a 102mm outer leaf and 100mm inner leaf and is commonly specified over larger openings in masonry cavity wall construction.

For the 3300mm length, IG lists a height of 199mm and a steel thickness of 2.9mm.

The published total UDL figures are 27kN at a 3:1 load ratio and 20kN at 19:1. The lintel should be selected against the actual loading and wall build-up rather than length alone.

Install in accordance with IG guidance and the project drawings, paying particular attention to end bearings, DPC detailing and support during construction.
