IG Lintel L1/S 100 3000mm

The IG L1/S 100 3000mm is designed for larger openings where a standard-duty cavity lintel is required. It suits 90–105mm cavities and is configured for a 102mm outer leaf with a 100mm inner leaf, giving dependable support for masonry above doors, windows and similar openings. IG’s technical table lists the 3000mm version at 173mm high with a 2.5mm steel thickness.

The published total UDL is 27kN at a 3:1 load ratio and 20kN at 19:1. Because this is a longer lintel, correct selection and installation are especially important.

Make sure the L1/S 100 profile matches the structural design and follow the manufacturer’s instructions for end bearing, temporary support where required, DPC and masonry construction.
