Repair Existing Plaster Walls
You can use Filltite plaster skim for indoor repairs to existing plaster walls and for producing flawlessly smooth paint ready surfaces. Likewise, it is especially effective when there is a need to quickly repair and level surface profiles up to 5mm deep prior to re-decorating.
Easy to Sand Level
This versatile and durable surface repair compound cures to a hard-wearing finish by moisture evaporation. However once dry it can be easily sanded, so it is ideal for quickly applying slightly proud of surrounding surfaces. Then it can be worked level with its surroundings using an abrasive pad or sandpaper.
Plaster Skim Straight from The Bucket
As well as a handy 5 kg tub this product is also available in a 10 kg bucket, which easily accepts filling tools like plastering trowels, large filling knives and straight-edge floats.
Ready mixed plaster skim and repair is for interior applications. However, when application in an external environment is absolutely necessary, it can be over-painted with oil or water-based paints for improved durability.
Alternatively for tougher outdoor repairs, levelling, and smoothing, also consider Filltite Rock Hard Repair Filler. It’s extremely durable and ideal for exterior applications when a very hard-wearing finish is required.
