BUILDERS merchants Beesley & Fildes has acquired Radcliffe Building Supplies, near Bury.

The 2.2 acres site in Radcliffe which houses Radcliffe Building Supplies will be transformed with a substantial investment programme to offer one of the most comprehensive services to the construction and maintenance markets in the region.

This includes refurbishing the shop and creating new jobs as part of the improvements. It will also see the introduction of new product lines.

Beesley & Fildes managing director Lee Davies said: “The acquisition of Radcliffe Building Supplies will enhance our network specifically in the Greater Manchester region while also allowing for us to better deliver for our customers across the North West. It’s an exciting development for the company.
